Hi, I'm Janet.Photographer, Entrepreneur, and your business cheerleader.
I've spent more than 20 years building and running a successful six-figure photography business. And along the way, I've learned that being a great photographer and being a great business owner are two very different skills.
I've worn just about every hat there is: photographer, editor, marketer, salesperson, bookkeeper, customer service department, and everything in between. I've celebrated the successes, made plenty of mistakes, and learned some valuable lessons the hard way.
I've also written The Photographer's Business Guide and developed software tools to help photographers work smarter, market themselves more effectively, and spend less time buried in administrative work.
I love helping other photographers navigate those same challenges, without having to learn every lesson the hard way.
